INDIAN TAMARINDis obtained from the fruit of a leguminous plant. The tamarind tree grows in countries such as Indonesia, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. After 13 to 14 years, the tree produces elongated, pod-shaped fruits 10 to 15 cm in length whose seeds are used for the production of raw materials. Indian tamarind stimulates the skin’s own repair mechanism, acts against free radicals and supplies skin with moisture.
